THE Mariners have completed the signing of Cambridge United striker/ midfield player Nathan Arnold on a season long loan deal.
United swooped for Nathan during the close season, with the 26-year old adding strength to the attacking options available to Richard Money.
Capable of playing on either flank or as a striker, his career began at Mansfield, where he made 100-plus appearances prior to signing for ambitious Hyde in August 2009.
Following 11 goals in 38 games he made the switch to Alfreton, helping them win promotion to the non-league top flight in 2011. He's described as direct, with undoubted skill and pace, he notched a further 32 goals in 131 games for Alfreton.
He has represented his country at England C level and had a short trial with the Mariners during Mike Newell's reign as manager.
