ON Wednesday 11th March GTFC Sports and Education Trust held their annual Football League Community Cup at Town's training ground, Cheapside.

The event was well supported with 15 school teams entering into the U12 tournament.

After a really good competition Signhills school ended as this years winners.

Former Town boss George Kerr looks on.

They will now go forward as our areas' winners to participate in the regional finals in Bury.

If they can be victorious there, which is the Northern Final, they would go forward to the National Final to be held at half-time at Wembley during the League 2 play-off finals.

Congratulations and thank-you to all that entered, everyone was a credit to themselves and their schools.
