But the Mariners were level when Chambers' powerful shot was too hot for Smith to handle and it found it's way in to the net.
And just beforethe break Town were ahead. A Middlesbrough defender slipped allowing Chambers in to slot home.
Cameron Park was on hand to fire Boro level on 55 minutes and earn the Championship side a share of the spoils..
