Bournemouth Team News

Posted on: Fri 19 Mar 2010

OLIVER Lancashire is set to miss the visit of Bournemouth after being told to rest by the medical staff at his parent club Southampton. The young defender has had an MRI scan on the injured foot and it has confirmed that there are no broken bones. Paul Linwood will continue at the heart of the Town defence.

Manager Neil Woods could be boosted by the return of three midfield players from injury.

Peter Sweeney looks to have recovered from a knee injury sustained at Crewe and the former Leeds man returned to training on Thursday.

Dean Sinclair travelled to Leeds for a precautionary MRI scan on his knee on Thursday. The Charlton loanee missed last Saturday's 1-1 draw at Morecambe with the problem but he did return to training on Monday and Tuesday and is expected to continue on Friday.

Jamie Devitt completes the trio. The Hull City midfielder had been out with a thigh strain but has missed the first part of this week's training because of illness.
