ASSISTANT manager Chris Casper will not be returning to the club and is set to take up a post elsewhere.

Neil Woods was keen to keep the former Bury manager at Blundell Park and he was offered a new deal at the club.

Casper joined the Mariners in December after the departure of Brian Stein but was only contracted to the club until the end of the 2009/10 season.
