TOWN midfielder Adrian Forbes has been given permission by the club to train with Blue Square Premier League rivals Darlington.

Forbes was one of several players who were told they could leave the club at the end of last season.

Neil Woods explains Forbsey's move to the Darlington Arena. He said: "Adrian's training with Darlington for three or four days. He's not playing any games, he's just going up for training. He goes back a long way with Richard Dryden, their assistant manager. Like I said before, Adrian is the ultimate professional, he does everything the correct way. They wanted to play him in a game but we wouldn't allow that, for obvious reasons."
