A young Town side were beaten by an early goal at Boston tonight.

Neil Woods handed a trial to former Cheltenham midfielder David Hutton. The 20-year-old, who started out as a trainee at Spurs, played wide on the Town left.

The home side took the lead after just 2 minutes when a good cross was swept home by Ryan Semple.

United dominated the game and the Mariners were restricted to half chances. Drew Rhodes had Town's best chance but fired straight at the keeper.
