New Assistant Appointed
GRIMSBY Town Football Club announce the appointment of Dave Moore as Assistant Manager, following the departure of Chris Casper. Grimsby born Moore was seen as a natural successor to the post by Neil Woods, who is delighted that the current Physiotherapist will be working more closely with him on playing matters.
Neil Woods said: "I had no hesitation in appointing Dave as my number two, he is not only an excellent physiotherapist but he also has a vast wealth of knowledge on football, having been involved at all levels of the game. He also has a real passion for the club having been born here and played for his home town club before becoming Youth Team Manager. I know that he will make a significant impact on the coaching and fitness development of players and I am pleased to have to such an experienced person as my assistant."
Dave Moore will continue in his present capacity as Head Therapist responsible for new backroom staff, Ben Mortlock (Assistant Therapist & Sports Scientist) and Steve Croudson (Conditioning Coach).
