Carnival Time

Posted on: Sat 31 Jul 2010

GRIMSBY Town will again be represented in this year's Cleethorpes Carnival when staff and volunteers will walk the route handing out fixture cards and vouchers for the upcomng England Under-17 match at Blundell Park, amongst other things.

Two minibuses will accompany the walkers and will be decorated in the famous black and white stripes. The Mariners are numbered 61 in the parade so will be near the end of the procession.

The Town buses will be blasting out some of your favourite football-related anthems, as well as some famous clips from the Mariners' long and illustrious history. So if you are watching the Carnival this afternoon give the Mariners an almighty cheer when they pass by.
