OUR Youth team had a comfortable victory against local rivals Scunthorpe United at Cheapside this morning.

Dayle Southwell and Sam Mulready were on target in a 2-0 win, but the Mariners missed a host of chances against Tony Daws' side.

Town now have four points on the board, having drawn one and won one of their opening games.

Next up for the Youths is a trip to Hartlepool next Saturday.
