ANTHONY Elding has been charged by the Football Association with misconduct and will be banned for 2 matches.

The Town striker was charged with breach of FA Rule E3 following complaints that he allegedly gestured to the travelling Lincoln fans during the Mariners' 3-1 win on New Year's Day.

The ban will begin immediately and he will miss Saturday's FA Trophy tie against York City. He is also fined £600.
