Born in Grimsby on the 19/12/91 and joined the Mariners School of Excellence at under 15's. Mark is a tall, strong, hardworking centre half who scooped the U18 Youth Team player of the Year at the end of the 08/09 Season.

Made his first team debut on the bench at Bournemouth on 24.10.09.
