The well-travelled frontman Barry Conlon joined the Mariners on an initial loan from League Two rivals Bradford City in March 2009 before signing for Town on a permanent basis during the summer of 2009.
The 30-year-old capped a fine loan debut for the Mariners with the third goal in the win over Gillingham.
The Dubliner began his career at QPR, but is best remembered for prolific spells with York, Darlington and Mansfield.
He scored some vital goals to keep the Mariners in the Football League and he uses his height and physical presence to great effect.
