Team News:

The Mariners will again be without the services of Max Wright and Luke Hendrie for Saturday’s trip to Home Park.

Wright misses out as he continues his recovery from a thigh problem, although he is making progress and is expected to return to full training next week.

Luke Hendrie faces three weeks on the sidelines after picking up a hamstring injury.

For Argyle, midfield duo Jose Baxter and Conor Grant continue to be ruled out of action.

Manager Ryan Lowe has confirmed that neither of them will be fit for the League Two encounter against Town.

Head to Head:

The two sides have met 13 times since 1979, the Mariners have won five of those, Argyle have won two and six draws.

Key Men for Plymouth - Callum McFadzean and Joel Grant

Experienced winger Joel Grant and attacking full-back Callum McFadzean top the scoring charts at Home Park. Both have been on target four times, with McFadzean providing three assists and Grant one.

Michael Jolley’s view:

Speaking on iFollow Mariners, he said: “We want to try and pick up as many points as we can.

“Plymouth away is a tough task for any team, but we have the mind-set that we can go there and get three points.

“We obviously did that at Exeter when they were top of the table so we know the journey down to Devon well, and we’re looking forward to the game.

“In terms of the logistics we’ve got a similar set-up to Exeter in terms of how we’ll approach the game.

Ryan Lowe

“Mike Jolley is a good young coach.

“They are going to be looking to come here and win. It's a task, but I feel we have an excellent chance if we play well."
