Buxton Team News

22 November 2012

MICHAEL Rankine is set to make his Grimsby Town debut against Buxton in the FA Carlsberg Trophy on Saturday. The Mariners completed the transfer ahead of Thursday’s 5pm deadline and the move was approved by the FA and the Football Conference soon after.

Michael will join Marcus Marshall who has extended his loan from Bury until January 5th.

Joe Colbeck is set to miss out once more through injury. The Town winger picked up a knock early in the Woking game and was forced to miss last week’s win over Braintree Town. The Town management are hopeful that the winger will be back to face Ebbsfleet next Saturday.

Liam Hearn is the only other injury casualty.

Nathan Pond will miss the tie against the Bucks through suspension. The Fleetwood Town loanee picked up his fifth booking against Braintree and is sidelined for one game.

Admission to this game is just £10 - Adults and £5 - Concessions. Supporters are reminded that just the Upper Findus Stand and the Pontoon Stand are open for this one.
