THE club have announced profits of £142,000 for the year ended 31st May 2012.Â
Chief Executive, Ian Fleming explained the surplus was due to monies from the on sale of former player Ryan Bennett from Peterborough United to Norwich City.Â
He said: “Without this income the underlying trading loss was as predicted but representative of the club’s ambition to return to the Football League." He added: "The operating losses without net player trading were £564,000 which were made worse as a result of low revenues from cup competitions."
The club last returned a profit in 2008 on the back of Johnstone Paint Trophy Final.
