AFTER a request from his friends, the Town players sent a get well message to Grenadier Guard James Johnson, who is recovering in hospital after being injured in Afghanistan.
James has a severely injured spine and only a 40 per cent chance of getting back on his feet following the accident on the frontline in Helmand Province.
Andy Graham, Bobby Winn and Clark Simons are hoping to use the footage to compile a video from friends and family to send to their injured friend.
The players took time out from their training to wish James a speedy recovery in a video message, issuing the call: “Come on James. We are right behind you. We are backing the boys.”
