New Appointment To Town Board

GRIMSBY Town Football Club directors are delighted to announce the appointment of the club's former accountant, Stephen Marley as advisor to the board.

Stephen was until recently a senior partner at Weaver Wroot Certified Chartered Accountants who are the company’s accountants and auditors and has been involved with the club for the past 35 years. 

Not only has he been accountant to the club he has also been a trusted advisor to the board over many years providing his expertise on such matters as company law and taxation planning for the proposed new stadium.

Stephens wealth of skills will further benefit the club, in particular with its planned relocation project which he already has been extensively involved in.

The sixty year old accountant is a stalwart Mariners fan and rarely misses a game at Blundell Park. Stephen said he was delighted to take up the role, which will be an honorary position.
