Devitt Off As Reserves Crash

8 April 2013

JAMIE Devitt was dismissed just before half time for violent conduct and will miss three first team games. The Hull City loanee was clearly seen to kick out at an opponent and was shown a straight red by the referee.

Morecambe had taken the lead early on through Doyle, before Southwell got on the end of  a brilliant cross from Hearn to head home.

Town stitched off at the restart of the second half and Burrow was allowed time to restore the visitors lead.

Parkinson stepped up to make it 3-1 to Morecambe from the penalty spot, before another fine Town passing move finished with a fine finish from Bryant to make it 3-2.

Burrows made it 4-2 after he headed come from a corner, before Holroyd added a fifth right near the end.

Town: Fleming, Devitt, Wilson, Thanoj, Southwell, Hearn, Kerr, Morral, Cuff, Peers, Bryant, Smith, Griffin, Walker, Humble, Loughran, Winfarrah.
