No Colbeck Appeal

10 April 2013

THE Mariners will not be appealing against Joe Colbeck’s sending off at Dartford last night.

The Town midfielder was dismissed in the 90th minute for violent conduct and will now be forced to miss the next four games.  An extra game is added because Colbeck has already served a ban for a red card earlier in this season.

Meanwhile, Simon Ford has been recalled from his loan at Telford. The move comes after Shaun Pearson was sidelined with a hip injury and Ian Miller was substituted during last night’s victory at Dartford after he received a cut to his head. Ford was on a 24 hour recall, which was part of the loan agreement.
