Reserves Beaten

30 January 2013

OUR Reserves were comprehensively beaten by a strong Mansfield Town side this afternoon.

Louis Briscoe fired the Stags into the lead with a long range effort on 19 minutes, with Hutchinson doubling their lead five minutes later.

The players were led from the field after a storm swept through Cleethorpes just before half time. The players returned five minutes later to complete the half.

A second half own goal by Blaze Kerr sealed the victory for the visitors.

Town’s best chances fell to Greg Pearson, the first was just wide and his second effort was well saved by the Mansfield keeper.

Picture: Anthony Elding - played the full 90 minutes.
