The Mariners have signed former Cambridge United keeper Jonathan Hedge on a one-year deal.
The 25 year-old Goalkeeper became Rob Scott and Paul Hurst’s second signing in the last 24 hours after the capture of Clayton McDonald on Thursday.
The former England C international stopper joined Cambridge from Tamworth in 2012 after spells with Halifax and Rotherham United as a youngster.
Hedge goes straight into the squad to face Hull City tonight at Blundell Park.
