Click here for a chance of winning two tickets to the FA Cup tie.
Please read the following information before travelling.
The match K.O time is 19:45 with extra time and penalties following if required, ensuring a result on the night. With this in mind we would like to take this opportunity to advise supporters about their preferred method of transport. A train service from Grimsby to Scunthorpe is running on the night however the last train leaves Scunthorpe at 23:18 back to Grimsby. Should the match go to extra time and penalties, this situation is likely to result in supporters missing the last train.
Coach transport is the recommended method of travel as this offers our supporters a safe and seamless method of arrival to the stadium and departure home. Several local companies are offering coach transportation on the night with Amvale taking bookings on: 01472 355600.
On a final note we would like to make any supporter wanting to engage in disorder aware of the implications of their actions on Grimsby Town Football Club and our loyal supporters. Disorder costs, money in terms of the extra security resources required, potential fines incurred from the Skrill Premier League or the Football Association and the cost of sanctions towards our support. Disorder casts aspersions on the character of our faithful and loyal travelling supporters, away clubs have no option other than to deploy methods for the containment and control of Grimsby risk. This often results in the assumption that travelling supporters are risk and treated as such. Away clubs do not know our support and therefore are not able to differentiate between risk and normal decent supporters.
Supporters engaging in disorder are not wanted and not acceptable, either by the club or by our supporters. You give this club a bad name which is not warranted or again wanted and any assistance possible will be given to Humberside Police to eliminate this unwanted element. Pitch encroachment is also illegal with a £1000 fine & court football banning order being the potential consequence.
We would like to wish all supporters a safe journey and enjoyable event at Glanford Park UTM!
