Gateshead v Grimsby Town - Saturday 23rd August, Kick-off 3pm

TOWN will have exclusive use of the East Stand (Opp Main Stand) for this game and should access the stand via Neilson Road.  Coach drivers are asked to drop supporters off in Neilson Road outside the gates to the lower field all weather pitch.  To arrive at this point drivers should enter Green Lane from the Felling by-pass, turn left into Tyne Main Road and left again into Neilson Road.  The gates to the all weather pitch are just before the stadium.

Town supporters will be directed from Neilson Road to the East Stand and will enter the Stadium via Turnstiles 9 - 11.  Prior to entry supporters will be on request subject to a search, refusal of which will result in entry to the stadium been denied.  The East Stand is an all seated and covered stand.  Food outlets and toilets are available inside.

At the end of the game Grimsby Supporters will be directed out of the stadium back towards Neilson Road.

NB. After dropping off supporters, coach drivers should turn left back onto Felling by-pass, turn left into Green lane and then left into Tyne Main Road where they can park until the end of the game.  Just prior to the end of the game coaches should return to Neilson road for collection of Grimsby Supporters.

Admission Prices: (pay on the turnstile) 

Adults £15, Concessions (over 60, registered disabled) £10, Students and 16/17 year old £8, Under 16’s £3.

How to get there:

From the South (Quickest route):
At the end of the A1(M) Junction 65, take the A194(M) towards South Shields. At the end of the A194(M) take the A184 towards Gateshead. The stadium is situated three miles further along this road on the right hand side. 

From the South (Taking in the Angel of the North):
Leave the A1 at the A167 turn off and take the A167 towards Gateshead South. You will pass the Angel of the North on your left hand side. On reaching the large roundabout at the junction with the A184, turn right onto the A184 itself. The stadium is further down the A184 on the left hand side. 


There are three free of charge car parks on the stadium site.

By Train:

The stadium has its own Metro stop called Gateshead Stadium, which is a five minute walk away. This stop is around a ten minute journey away from Newcastle Central railway station, which is also the nearest mainline station.
