Supporters can now get their hands on packs of Grimsby Town stickers for the first time, after going on sale in the club shop this morning for £1.
Following the re-emergence of football stickers in popular culture, after the recent FIFA World Cup in Brazil, the club decided to launch a Panini-like sticker album this week – to the delight of Mariners supporters. Both young and old!
The limited edition sticker book, which has been printed by local company Wydenham Gait, has been available from the Blundell Park club shop completely free of charge with a voucher from the Grimsby Telegraph this week. So far, over 500 albums have already been snapped up.
In total there are 60 stickers to collect and, in addition to the packs of five, four new stickers will be included in each edition of our award-winning matchday programme; starting with the Dartford game today.
