He began his career with Ligue 2 outfit Sedan in 2008/09 before joining Sunderland in the summer of 2009.Â
The 22-year old Paris-born player spent three years on the books of the Wearside club before being released in 2012.
 He signed for Oldham Athletic in August 2010 in a season long loan deal, playing 52 games and scoring eight times, before enjoying another eight game loan spell in 2011/12 in which he scored once.Â
In February 2013 Tounkara joined Bristol Rovers on a week-long trial which resulted in him being awarded a short-term contract until the end of the season.Â
Oumare joined Stevenage prior to the start of the 2013/14 campaign.Â
He is expected to go straight into the Town squad to face Cambridge tomorrow night.Â
