This is traditionally the last big week of season ticket sales, and we are in a good position to comfortably beat last year's season ticket final totals at pre-season which could herald 2,000 season ticket holders for the start of the campaign.

 

Grimsby Town manager, Paul Hurst, says that it is important that a good atmosphere is created and the fans have a massive part to play in the club's promotion ambitions.

He said: "Your support is crucial to the football club for many reasons, but on the playing side I can assure you that running out and performing as a player in front of a large and vocal home crowd gives you a massive lift.

"As manager of this Football Club you, the fans, have helped create some special memories for me that I will never forget. Games in the play-offs, FA Cup and some of our league games against the likes of Wrexham, Kidderminster and, of course, our local rivals Lincoln City will stay with me forever. A key ingredient on each of those occasions has been the atmosphere inside Blundell Park thanks to you. Hopefully you have some special memories too and looking forward to the 2014/15 season, together I’m sure we can create some more. "
