TOWN striker Ross Hannah is looking forward to returning to Matlock Town when the Mariners head there for a pre-season friendly game next month.
Ross scored 102 league goals in 130 games for the Derbyshire club and his prolific goal-scoring soon came to the attention of Bradford City.
Speaking to gtfc.co.uk, Ross said: "Yes looking forward to the Matlock game. I went back with Bradford when I first signed so this won't be the first.
"Matlock is a great well run little club with fantastic people around it.
"It's always good to go back somewhere you are liked and did well. I enjoyed my time there as I feel it was the club that really helped me to kick on and I got my chance in full time football. That is what I'd been striving for.
"Their gaffer, Mark Atkins, and the staff there certainly helped me and guided me in the right direction."
