Croudson Departs

9 May 2014

Grimsby Town Football Club regrets to announce that Goalkeeping Coach, Steve Croudson is set to leave the Mariners and take up a position at a Premier League club.

Steve joined the Mariners as an apprentice in 1997 and made a spectacular 1st Team debut against Wolverhampton Wanderers in May 1999.

He re-joined the club in 2007 and has become an integral part of the backroom staff at the club.

Stevie is very disappointed to be leaving his home town club but feels that the offer is too good an opportunity to turn down in order to further his career.

He would like to thank the fans for their massive support during his time here and will always hold the club close to his heart.

Grimsby Town Football Club would like to thank Steve for all his hard work and commitment to the club and wish him all the best for the future.
