On Monday 1st December, Director John Fenty will lead a team of star-studded club legends against a squad of Mariners supporters in the 2014 Chairman’s Challenge game at Blundell Park – Kick-off: 7pm.
Already confirmed to star in John Fenty’s XI is Town boss Paul Hurst, Wembley ’98 heroes John McDermott, Kevin Donovan and Dave Smith; ex-Youth Team Manager and now Sunderland coach Robbie Stockdale and former fans favourite Paul Bolland.
As well as donning the famous black and white stripes on the hallowed Blundell Park turf against a team of legends, supporters who pay for a place in the Challenger’s squad will receive a commemorative team picture and a DVD of the whole game, so they can analyse their performance back at home on the big screen as many times as they're allowed!
Friends and family of the Challengers can watch the game from the luxury of the executive facilities in McMenemy’s, where bar facilities will be available throughout and a post-match buffet and presentation will also take place.
To secure a place in the squad it will cost £200 – with all proceeds going to the PPAG, once again.
