FORMER Newcastle United striker Micky Quinn was on top form at our latest guest speaker evening in McMenemy's last night.
Quinn, who now works on Talksport, among st other topics, reminisced about his debut 25 years ago, where he bagged four goals against the much fancied Leeds United.
He also talked about his arrival at Newcastle for £650,000 from Portsmouth where he endured a frosty reception from the United faithful.
With the ink still drying on his contract, a stroll around the city resulted in Quinn spotting a group of protesting fans with a banner reading: “Who the **** is Mick Quinn?”.
He was supported by funny man Tony Jo, who had the McMenemy's crowd in fits of laughed from start to finish.
