THE Mariners have signed goalkeeper Nick Draper on a deal until the January transfer window.
The 21 year-old has played for Lincoln City, Boston United and had a spell in Scotland with Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
With youth team goalkeeper Calllum Bastock sidelined for the rest of the season with a serious knee injury, Town boss Paul Hurst is pleased to get the stopper in as cover for James McKeown.
“But our Youth team keeper Callum Bastock has got injured and Jack Pearson is only a first-year, so as we move forward we’ve got to protect ourselves a bit.
“It also helps on the training ground if you’ve got another keeper to work with.
“Nick came here before and did well, so I’m delighted he is going to join us until January – it gives me that little bit of security," the gaffer added.
