FORMER Town striker Michael Bouding is the latest player to agree to play in next month's Chairman's Challenge fundraising game.
After scoring 11 goals in a season with the Mariners, he attracted interest from Premier League-side Aston Villa. However, his stay with Villa was short-lived and his only first team action was in the Intertoto Cup, before he returned to Blundell Park. He spent another two years with Town and then another two with Barnsley, before he decided to retire in 2005.
Micky Boulding joins Jack Lester, Paul Bolland, John McDermott, Dave Smith, Tony Rees, Kevin Donovan, Tommy Widdrington and Paul Hurst in the Chairman's team.
Would you like to line up against these players?
Well, for just £200 you can do just that on the Hallowed turf of Blundell Park.
As well as donning the famous black and white stripes at Blundell Park against a team of legends, supporters who pay for a place in the Challenger’s squad will receive a commemorative team picture and a DVD of the whole game, so they can analyse their performance back at home on the big screen as many times as they're allowed!
