THE Mariners have signed Rotherham United midfielder Nicky Walker on a loan deal to the transfer window.
The 20-year old started out with the Millers as a youngster and went onto make his first team debut whilst still in the Miller's youth system.
He has since had a successful loan spell at League Two side Wycombe Wanderers, along with team-mate Daniel Rowe.
There had been a concern that the player had broken his wrist and the move to Town would have been off, but, although an xray has revealed a cracked bone, Nicky was given the go ahead to continue playing and he reported for training with the Mariners this morning. Â Â
The deal was completed aead of Thursday's 5pm transfer deadline and is set to travel to Teleford on Saturday.
