OUR clash against FC Halifax Town on Tuesday, November 11, will feature a number of poignant tributes to those who have lost their lives in conflicts across the globe.
And, as this year also marks the 100th anniversary of the First World War, there will be special mention of those soldiers - including the Mariners' own 1914 squad – who took part in the fighting.
The main stand will be opened up to veterans and serving soldiers free of charge - just bring along your medals and cap.
Cadets and Standard Bearers from across the borough have also been invited to come along and will be collecting for Armed Services charities throughout the match.
Spectrum Printers have also provided a series of A3 posters listing the names of the local men who have lost their lives in conflict, which will be on display in the bar area.
To find out more about the event, or to volunteer your services for reading the poem, call Nick Dale on 01472 605050.
Kick off is at 7.45pm.
