Craig Clay, who limped out of Saturday's Vanarama Premier League clash at Wrexham, will miss Tuesday's Lincs Senior Cup final against Lincoln City. The midfielder took a kick on the tibia part of his leg at the Racecourse ground and wasn't able to train on Monday. However, Paul Hurst and physio Dave Moore are confident that he will be available for the weekend's trip to Torquay.
Aswad Thomas reported a little bit of stiffness around his groin area after the game but should be available for the visit of the Imps.
Jon-Paul Pittman returned to training today after being sidelined with a hamstring injury.
The Mariners frontman, who has scored four times this season, collapsed to the turf just 12 minutes into last month's defeat to Torquay United.
Pittman won't be risked in Tuesday's cup final against Lincoln but an ironic return at Torquay on Saturday could be on the cards.
Paul Hurst says that there will be quite a few changes for the Lincolnshire Cup Final but there will still be a strong side to face Gary Simpson's side.
He said: "There will be a team of pros, then there will be some youth team players on the bench. One of them may get a start but we will have to see on that one."
Defender Ellis Humble has now returned from his loan stint at Cleethorpes Town and is expected to feature tomorrow night. Although the loan had been approved by the Football Association, the Northern Counties League rejected the move and the player isn't allowed to play for them.
