TOWN boss Paul Hurst is hoping to step up his search for a striker ahead of Saturday's Vanarama Conference clash at Wrexham.
Speaking after Tuesday's 0-0 draw against Altrincham Paul said: "I'm hoping to watch a game today and there's also a couple of calls to follow up on to see if anything has changed and anything can moved forward on those.
"I'm not silly, there's frustration with everyone connected with the football club that we haven't been able to bring in that extra striker.
"There's no-one more frustrated than me because, trust me, I'm doing the work, hopefully something will come off for us soon."
And the Town boss was frustrated after seeing his side draw a blank against the Robins.
He said: "I thought we played really well and we were pushing – I can't fault the lads' effort and their desire to try and win the game.
"They were out on their feet at the end and they desperately wanted to win the game and the performance deserved that, but we all know what the game is about and that's putting the ball in the back of the net.
"We didn't do that and ultimately it was two points dropped at home. It just doesn't seem to be happening for us at this moment in time."
