Boss Satisfied With Point

16 September 2014

TOWN boss Paul Hurst was satisfied after seeing his side come away from The Shay Stadium with a point tonight.

He said: “I think we were up against it to a degree coming into the game - losing the strikers and not being able to find the right person(s) to come in.

“The first half performance is as good as I've seen.”

And the Town boss is more hopeful of bringing in some reinforcements ahead of Saturday's trip to Kidderminster.

He added: “There is a couple that I am waiting on. They (the clubs) are saying that their situation might be better and they will be able to let the players out.” Click here to listen to the full post match interview.

Watch out for Scott Neilson's goal - it'll be on Mariners Player in the early hours.
