Chester Team News

25 September 2014

SATURDAY'S Vanarama Conference clash against Chester will come a bit too soon for Lenell John-Lewis, that's according to manager Paul Hurst.

The striker limped out of the recent clash with Torquay with an ankle problem, but he is said to be making good progress and could be back to face Southport on Tuesday night.

Jon-Paul Pittman is likely to be absent for at least another 2-3 weeks with a hamstring injury. The former Wycombe frontman has had a scan on the suspect leg and the diagnosis is as first feared.
Nathan Arnold has trained this week and will be assessed ahead of the visit of Steve Burr's side.

Aswad Thomas is the only other absentee. The Town left-back is recovering from a broken fibula.
