CHRISTIAN Jolley will miss Saturday's Vanarama Conference clash against Wrexham after picking up a hamstring injury at Alfreton on Easter Monday.

The Town midfielder limped off at the in the 70th minute at the Impact Arena after feeling his hamstring tighten.

Josh Gowling is also a doubt with a 'mystery' foot injury.

Paul Hurst explains: "Josh Gowling has a bit of a mystery injury. He's struggling with his foot, to bring it back up towards him. It sounds very strange and innocuous. He just woke up with that. We'll have to see how that is tomorrow. At this moment in time he is doubtful," he added.

But the Town boss is optimistic of having Christian Jolley available for next week's trip to Southport.

He said: "He came off the other day with his hamstring and that is still a bit too sore. He will miss Saturday. Hopefully it won't be too long and he will be available for the Southport game."

There's more from the Town boss on Mariners Player soon.
