PAUL Hurst has no fresh injury concerns going into the Bank Holiday Monday Vanarama National League clash with Macclesfield Town at Blundell Park (3pm).
But the Town boss has hinted that he might make some changes for the visit of John Askey’s side.
Speaking after the 1-1 draw at Lincoln City at the weekend, he said: “It now seems a bit of a no-brainer to make some changes.
“We talked about the difficulty of a derby game and that’s the one thing that is perhaps slightly unfair for both teams, when you play on Monday. A game that is high on emotion and the build up to it as well. Then playing it, playing it with ten men, in warm conditions on a sunny day, it’s bound to have taken more out of the players than we would have liked.”
Josh Gowling is set to serve his first of his three match ban after his sending off at Sincil Bank, Scott Brown and Josh Sunter are the only other absentees through injury.
