YOUNG goalkeeper Callum Bastock has been handed a contract extension by manager Paul Hurst.
The promising 18-year-old suffered a cruciate knee ligament injury last season which saw his season as a second year YT cut short.
However, Paul Hurst vowed to stick by the player, handing him a six month contract with the club.
Recovery from the serious injury has been slow and the Town boss has now given the Boston born stopper more time to prove himself with the Mariners.
The deal will keep him at Blundell Park until at least the end of the season.
