REFEREE Alan Young will be the man in the middle for Town's first game of the New Year against Guiseley at Blundell Park on Saturday.
The Cambridgeshire based official is new to the scene and is currently in his debut season at National League level, taking charge of 9 games so far this season.
In those 9 games, he has given out 30 yellow cards and two red cards, sending off Barrow's Nick Wilmer-Anderton and Welling's Barney Williams for second bookable offences this campaign.
He will be assisted by James Turner and Martyn Holmes for the game, whilst Paul Newhouse will be the Fourth Official.
LAST TIME OUT
This will be the first time that Young has refereed both Town and Guiseley in his short career so far.
With no previous outings at Blundell Park, he will be hoping that he can make a good impression in a game that is sure to feature one of the biggest crowds of the day in the National League.
