FOOTBALL League official Dean Whitestone will take charge of Town's FA Cup Second Round Replay with Shrewsbury Town on Tuesday night.
The Northamptonshire official is one of the most experienced at that level, having been promoted to that standard from the National League in 2006, and beginning at non-league standard way back in 2003.
Interestingly, he works as a police officer in London when he isn't on the field and was on duty during the riots in that city back in 2011.
So far this season, he has handed out 57 yellow cards and two reds in 20 games and gave out 73 yellows and four reds in 31 games last campaign.
Whitestone will be assisted by Ian Smedley and Michael Denton, whilst Richard Martin has been appointed as Fourth Official.
LAST TIME OUT
It has been several years since Whitestone officiated Town, with the last time coming in a 2-1 defeat to Rochdale at Blundell Park in October 2007.
Current Premier League striker Glenn Murray and Adam Le Fondre scored for the Dale that day, whilst loanee Shaleum Logan scored the goal for Alan Buckley's side.
