Barnet 1-3 Grimsby Town

21 February 2015

TWO late goals secured an impressive away victory for Grimsby Town as they completed a double over league leaders Barnet by winning 3-1 at The Hive.

After two consecutive defeats, the Mariners returned to winning ways in spectacular fashion, in front of 969 travelling supporters.

Christian Jolley set Town on their way with his first goal for the club midway through the first half to give them a one-goal lead at half-time.

Barnet came back after the break and after substitute Conor Clifford equalised, the hosts showed some signs that they might be about to go on and win the game.

But Grimsby had other ideas and Craig Disley restored their lead in the last minute, before Jon-Paul Pittman marked his return from injury by grabbing a third goal in added time to seal a deserved three points.
