Grimsby Town Football Club will be consulting interested parties at the proposed Community Stadium site on Peaks Parkway on Sunday.
The purpose of the exercise is to elicit opinion about the clubs aims an objectives to relocate to Peaks Parkway.
Whilst there has been overwhelming support for the clubs plans so far, we need to reinforce that message to feed into the councils New Local Plan.
These events will be held over the next three Sundays, with the first scheduled for this Sunday from 11am.
1st consultation Sunday 22nd February between 11am to 3pm
2nd consultation Sunday 1st March between 11am to 3pm
3rd consultation Sunday 8th March between 11am to 3pm
Some of the first team players will be on hand between 12noon and 1pm on each of the days to assist with the collecting of people's opinions.
The club will also be launching several alternative ways for people to feed in to the consultation ranging from paper hard copy, to logging on to an electronic survey which takes little more than a couple of minutes to populate.
We are asking for people not to be complacent and ensure that the objectors don't have the biggest say amongst much of the misinformation being peddled.
