TOWN boss Paul Hurst was disappointed after seeing some uncharacteristic defensive mistakes at the New Lawn this afternoon.
An 84th minute defensive lapse had allowed substitute James Norwood in to seal the win for the home side.
“It was so unlike us." he said. "I guess when you come to a place like Forest Green, a team on a roll, with good players, that's the one thing that you can't really afford to do.
“More than anything it is the first goal that frustrates me. I think we made two bad decisions to contribute to that.”
“I thought that for large parts both teams pretty much cancelled each other out. It wasn't a great spectacle in terms of quality but it was two teams who were willing work.
“If anyone was going to get the three points it looked like it was going to be us.
“To end up coming away with nothing is disappointing.
“But we now need to move quickly on to a nice easy one against Bristol Rovers.”
