Scott Brown and Jon-Paul Pittman joined in with training today - but only partly. Both players were due to miss the postponed Telford game with hamstring and knee injuries respectively and are not quite ready for a return to action.
The Town duo will miss Friday's coach journey to Forest Green Rovers and will stay behind to train with Youth team coach Alan Lamb.
Speaking on Mariners Player, Paul Hurst explained: "Browny still feels it slightly, so that will be left until Monday. In terms of trying to get back, he'll do some work in the gym but not on the training ground.
"In terms of JP, I think he felt pretty good, looked okay, but he will be getting another training session under his belt while we are travelling down to Forest Green."
Scott Neilson, who has been struggling with an ankle injury, will also miss the trip and will train with the Town youth coach.
