WHILST the football club knew there was significant support for its relocation to Peaks Parkway, the latest figures surpass all expectation.
In summary, 2205 survey responses have been received after only two and a half days.
Overwhelmingly 94% of respondents totalling 2079 said that the council should help the football club achieve relocation and 87% of respondents totalling 1910 are in favour of Peaks Parkway, the club's preferred location to be allocated in to the new Local Plan.
It’s important that people do not take this message as job done – every single response will feed into influencing the make up of the Council's New Local Plan.
The club's first public consultation at the Peaks Parkway site takes place this Sunday between 11-3pm.
Several players, the manager and assistant manager, will be there to assist with collating any feedback and completing additional surveys.
In response to questions relating to public transport; the club can confirm that the Peaks Parkway destination will accommodate a regular bus service, which will also be beneficial to local residents, the crematorium and the school.
Don't forget to get everyone to take part in this survey – your friends, children, aunts, uncles etc, etc . .
