This weekend supporters will finally be able to complete their GTFC sticker albums when numbers ‘55’ and ‘56’ are released.
The mysterious missing stickers caused intrigue among Mariners fans when the initiative was initially launched in November. But we can exclusively reveal that ‘55’ and ‘56’ were intentionally held back to allow for any potential arrivals during the January transfer window. Now with Christian Jolley and Gregor Robertson signed until the end of the season, club officials decided to commission the final two stickers.
The first place supporters will be able to find ‘Jolley’ and ‘Robertson’ is inside Saturday’s edition of The Mariner. They will be available in the club shop from 9am Saturday morning, or from the programme selling points around the ground from 1pm.
Also happening on Saturday is a sticker ‘swap shop’ morning in the Mariners Trust bar from 10am - 12 noon. If, like many others, you already have a number of duplicate stickers, get yourself along to the event and you’ll be sure to finish your album!
Packs of five will be available at £1 each, as well as a limited number of albums for £2.
As always, sticker-mad fans living out of town can continue to collect them by buying packs online by clicking here.
